Meet Mrs. B

Picture
For Tracie Bonica, teaching is a life-long passion. Born and raised in Hillsboro, Tracie is an alumni of Wonder World Preschool and Hillsboro High School.

While attending Linfield College, she earned a Bachelors in Science in Education and an Oregon Teaching License specializing in Early Education. She has taken all of the classes necessary to earn an ESOL Endorsement from Lewis and Clark College to help her be prepared to meet the needs of students as they acquire a variety of language skills. She has spent countless hours teaching, volunteering, and interacting with children both inside and out of the classroom.

Meet Mrs. Meza
Picture
Mrs. Meza is a Wonder World Preschool Alumni as
well. Mrs. Meza joins our team as a teacher with experience teaching in a variety of preschool settings since 2001, including Head Start. Her range of experiences as well as her experiences as a mother will be a great asset in the classroom. Mrs. Meza is a mother of 6, who has also sent each of her children to Wonder World Preschool.

Meet Mrs. Ellis

Mrs. Ellis earned a Bachelors in Humanities in 1999. Mrs. Ellis began teaching preschool as part of a parent co-op (home preschool) when her oldest daughter turned 3. She taught for 5 years between 2000-2008.  Mrs Ellis is the mother of 5 children; 3 of which attended Wonder World Preschool.  Mrs. Ellis has also volunteered for many years in her children's elementary school classrooms as well as teaching children's Sunday school classes at church.  For Mrs. Ellis, preschool is the place to be!

School Advisors
Wonder World is advised by several teachers who have tremendous experience in Early Childhood Education. The academic success that their students have achieved speaks for itself.

Meet Mrs. Bonica

Picture
Mrs. Bonica has 37 years of teaching experience including 25 years of
teaching Kindergarten exclusively. Mrs. Bonica will be advising
Wonder World Preschool. Mrs. Bonica's classroom, affectionately known as the Chicka-Chicka Boom room, is the most fun place to be a Kindergartener! Mrs. Bonica makes learning fun, interactive and so rewarding for her students. I have spent a great deal of time in Mrs. Bonica's classroom, learning how to make learning relevant to youngsters and just what Kindergarteners are capable of. I look forward to continuing to develop as a teacher with Mrs. Bonica's help and seeing how to make learning at Wonder World even more FUN!
